Literally a freestyle illustration. I've been working non stop all holiday, and freetime has kind of been a rarity. Finally got some time to myself and made this. Nothing exciting or special. Just an experimental playground. :)

I love works that have so much detail that you can stare at it for an hour and still find new things. This one has such aesthetically stimulating details and colors that it never seems to get dull or boring. The implied movement is fun and belies the character's "age" by giving him an agile and acrobatic posture. Awesome.
